Fringe Chabad And Kahane Groups Merge In Attempt To Physically Resist Pullout

Fringe Chabad elements and members of the banned Kahane movement have joined together to physically resist pullout from the West Bank. Arutz 7 reports:

Youths calling themselves “Orange Youth Brigade” are busy training in
self-defense, explaining they will not permit a reoccurrence of the
Gaza or Amona expulsions, especially the brutality directed against
youths in Amona.

The directors of the program, including a former IDF self-defense and
hand-to-hand combat instructor, explained their training is strictly
self-defense. Training includes defending oneself against a threat
riding horseback, preparing for mounted police as well.

When asked how they would react to a police effort to remove them from
areas of Israel, one director responded that no one will ever forcibly
remove them from their homes again and if provoked or attacked, they
will defend themselves.

An Israel Television news report stated the involved persons are
affiliated with the outlawed followers of the late Rabbi Meir Kahane
and a fringe extreme element of the Chabad hassidic sect.

So the teachings of Menachem Mendel Schneerson as expounded by Chabad rabbis Sholom Dovber Wolpe and Yitzhak Ginzburg have merged with idealogy of Meir Kahane, hy"d. The worst is yet to come.

thats what caused the violence at ammona. Rabbi Shapira must return to the path of ahavas israel which lies at the core of the teachings of Rav Kook or run the risk of destroying merkaz harav g-d forbid. Violent confrontations will alienate the majority of israely society for decades to come.

Since many of the demonstrators policemen beat up at Amona were peaceful it seems only apropriate to learn some basic self defence if someone wants to participate in further demonstrations.

This crosses the line from self defense into rebellion.

  5. “[I]t seems only apropriate to learn some basic self defence if someone wants to participate in further demonstrations.”

True. But primarily passive self defense and non-violence training. Both are necessary.

Many of the demonstrators were peaceful, but there was hard core who used violence. Those of us who believe in peaceful non violent protest must make clear that hate mongering and violence have no place in our struggle for eretz israel. Once violence starts the police and army have no choice but to use whater means neccary to protect themselves. They have to respond with force because , eventhough one protester might be sitting there peacefully, the others are throughing rocks and stabbing them. the police are going to have to assume that every one is out to hurt them and react accordingly.Rabbi Shapira must make unmistakably clear that the police and army are our brothers and sisters, and that doing anything that incites hatred and violence of jew against jew is forbidden.

post something funny for a change.

In honor of the miracles that G-d performed when taking the Jews out of Egypt, Jono and G-fish sing a song of praise, using the timeless Jewish folk tradition of Rap Music

they can think whatever they want , and call things whatever they want
but when they are so bigotted,
they cannot feign open mindedness and tolerance .
all their gestures of tolerance are dishonest and knowingly misleading !

Kol HaKavod to the members of Chabad Lubavitch and the members of the Kahane movement. These brave and courageous Jews are resisting the forced evacuation and demolition of Jewish communities in Israel, despite the draconian measures being taken by the totalitarian regime in Israel which seeks to repress all forms of protest against giving up land to the Arab enemy.
The police violence in Amona will not be forgotten. Let us bear witness to this barbaric and horrific day in Jewish history. Let us remember that this battle is not just about nine houses in Amona. Let us remember that this is a far greater battle. Let us remember that this battle is between the holy and the profane. This a battle between those who are willing to sacrifice life and limb for the holy land of Israel and those who are willing to give our land to the Arab enemy. This a battle between the forces of Hashem and His holy Torah and between the forces of secularization and liberalism. Let us remember that our only hope, our only savior is Hashem Yisborach. The Almighty G-d of Israel. It is our duty to cleave to Hashem, to ask for His help and to walk in His ways. We ask that Holy One, Blessed Be He, in His mercy grant us the strength and courage to gird our loins and to prepare to defend our faith. And let us bear witness to the beginning of the battle for our very existence as Jews and for the land of Israel.
