The NY Sun, the city’s upstart, high brow competition to the New York Times edited by English Forward co-founder Seth Lipsky, can now be read online for free.
Today’s Sun has a piece on Jared Kushner, the NYU Law student who last week purchased the New York Observer. The son of Modern Orthodox NJ real estate mogul Charles Kushner, currently serving time for various criminal convictions and undergoing treatment for substance abuse, Jared Kushner is the former president of Chabad at Harvard. I believe his father is a Chabad supporter and was at one time on the board of the Rabbinical College of America (Morristown, NJ).
The Observer is widely read in the media, publishing and arts communities.
